- Edits "The Isle of Ladies," with accompanying notes, glossary, and commentary, the latter including discussion of the text, language, date, authorship, literary context, style, and meter of the poem. The poem was first printed by Thomas Speght in 1598, attributed to Chaucer, and entitled "Chaucer's Dreme." Daly's edition is a photographic reprint of his Harvard dissertation, completed in 1977, and then titled "'The Isle of Ladies': A Critical Edition."
