- Limited art edition (200 copies printed) of MerPT, translated by Nevill Coghill (1960), illustrated by Derek Cousins, and designed by Thomas Simmonds. Coghill's translation is interleaved for comparison with the text from the Ellesmere manuscript, with modified punctuation. Two cover illustrations (Merchant and Wife of Bath), with fourteen full-page illustrations of MerT and one of a group of pilgrims (black and white against single-color backgrounds), plus a medallion portrait of Chaucer as a frontispiece.
