- Description
- A film script which combines "key lines and phrases" from Boccaccio's "Filostrato," TC, and Shakespeare's "Troilus and Cressida," interspersed with appearances of the three writers in moments of fictional biography. Re-tells the broad outlines of the traditional plot, and adds concern with literary tradition. The Boccaccio and Chaucer quotations are given in their original language and in translation. A brief introduction (pp. v-xiii) describes the project, including "Notes to the Filming."
